About Spring Rose

Spring Rose is a Chinese granite characterised by a sophisticated palette of grey tones interlaced with subtle pink hues. The dominant grey background is punctuated by light and dark gray variations, while medium to dark pink accents add warmth. Its medium‑size grain gives the surface a uniform, refined texture that works well in both polished and honed finishes. Spring Rose is suitable for flooring, wall cladding, countertops, and outdoor applications where durability and aesthetic appeal are required. Marmi di Carrara supplies Spring Rose in robust blocks and 2‑3 cm thick slabs, offering cut‑to‑size options and real‑project photos before purchase.

The stone shows a grey background with a mix of light and dark gray tones, overlaid by medium to dark pink patches. It has medium‑size grain crystals throughout.

Finishes for Spring Rose

Polished

Mirror-like gloss that brings out colour and veining at full depth. The classic choice for walls, tops and interior floors; slippery when wet.

Honed

Smooth and matt, with a soft satin look. Hides small scratches and etching better than a polish and is safer underfoot.

Leathered

A brushed texture on hard stones: matt, lightly textured and very good at hiding fingerprints and water marks on worktops.

Bush-hammered

A rough, pitted surface made with a toothed hammer. Maximum slip resistance for exterior paving, ramps and steps.

Flamed

A thermal finish that makes the crystals burst and leaves a rough, non-slip surface. The standard for exterior granite.

Care and maintenance

  • Clean with water and a neutral detergent; hard stones tolerate everyday use very well.
  • Sealing is quick and recommended on light colours and on honed, leathered or flamed finishes.
  • Avoid waxes and film-forming products that leave a layer on the surface.
  • Outdoors, an occasional wash with a pressure cleaner at moderate pressure restores the colour.
  • Hot pans, knives and frost are not a problem for most stones of this family; use trivets anyway to protect sealers.
