About Creme Pardais
Creme Pardais is a distinguished Portuguese marble known for its elegant, light aesthetic. Originating from Portugal, this stone displays a dominant white base with subtle yellow or rosy undertones. The fine to medium grain is often accented by delicate greyish spots or veins, creating a sophisticated natural pattern. Its soft, creamy appearance makes Creme Pardais ideal for interior applications such as flooring, wall cladding, and decorative elements. It accepts various finishes, including polished for a mirror-like sheen or honed for a matte, tactile surface. Marmi di Carrara supplies Creme Pardais in blocks, slabs of 2 or 3 cm, and cut-to-size pieces. We provide photos of actual slabs before purchase to ensure you select the exact variation of this Portuguese marble.
Fine to medium-grained marble with a granoblastic texture, ranging in colour from indigo white to white-yellow or rosy white-yellow. The stone often features greyish spots or veins.

Finishes for Creme Pardais
Polished
Mirror-like gloss that brings out colour and veining at full depth. The classic choice for walls, tops and interior floors; slippery when wet.
Honed
Smooth and matt, with a soft satin look. Hides small scratches and etching better than a polish and is safer underfoot.
Brushed
Worked with abrasive brushes for a slightly undulating, silky surface that follows the grain of the stone. Warm to the touch and easy to live with.
Sandblasted
A fine, even roughness obtained with a jet of sand. Lightens the colour and gives grip: used for exteriors, steps and pool surrounds.
Bush-hammered
A rough, pitted surface made with a toothed hammer. Maximum slip resistance for exterior paving, ramps and steps.
Care and maintenance
- Clean with water and a neutral detergent made for natural stone; rinse and dry.
- Avoid acids and descalers (vinegar, lemon, anti-limescale sprays): they etch calcite and dull a polished surface.
- Seal with an impregnating protector after laying and repeat when water no longer beads, typically every 1–3 years on tops.
- Wipe wine, coffee, oil and citrus juice straight away, especially on kitchen and vanity tops.
- A dulled or scratched surface can be re-honed or re-polished on site: the stone is the same through its whole thickness.
